All CIU10 eGoals servers have been updated to version 4.8.0.121.
This update is designed to fix an issue regarding the Progress Reports.

With this update, you should no longer experience this issue.

The CIU10 eGoals servers have been updated to eGoals SIS version 4.8.0.93. This release should resolve the Invalid Index Array issue reported by Glendale and Moshannon Valley, and adds Early Intervention documents to the application once configured.

As of Thursday evening 12/8/2005, all IU10 hosted eGoals servers are now running version 4.8.88.

New builds of all 3 major eGoals applications were done this weekend, and appear to have corrected propbelms associated with logins and database selection. IU servers are now running these versions:

[UPDATE] Some new bugs were discovered in the cutternt builds. The eGoals development team is working to correct them. Until then, the eGoals system is offline.

After a day of unplanned downtime to fix some behind the scenes problems, new builds arrived this morning and now eGoals is back up and fully functional. All IU servers are now running these versions:

SISLaunch 4.0.22
SIS.exe 4.8.81
SISAdmin 4.8.9

All IU eGoals servers are now running version 4.8.0.78 of the SIS application. This version included a fix for the SDVerify output.

Last nite, CIU10 hosted eGoals servers and databases were updated to the following versions:

SIS.exe is now version 4.8.76
SISAdmin.exe is now 4.8.7

All databases have been updated with the November 2005 Service Pack reflecting the PDE changes.

Today (11/22/2005) the main SIS.exe was updated to fix a bug found by BEA. The current working version is now 4.8.77

We are excited to present the latest Enhancements to SIS and the new State required changes for Child Count Reporting (Penn Data):

- IEP, Special Education Tab: New text box for inputting information regarding the ESY provision of FAPE statement (if applicable).

- Dates button functionality has been updated so the report will now include school and teacher's name columns. The report will also now sort by school and then in chronological due date order.

- Procedural Safeguard Letter: Additional fields added to the Admin module to input MR/MR address AND the Local Chapter of the PA Association for Retarded Citizens associated with your district.

The above addresses will now automatically print to page 2 of the PSL letter and will no longer have to be hand written. Also the employee name can be selected on the PSL letter and will no longer have to be hand written on page 1 of the PSL letter.

- ER Permission Letters: Drop-down boxes have been added to all user input sections. Users can now add pre-canned statements to these sections using F2. When selecting from the drop-down box make sure to press enter after making selection to prefill statement to above text box.

- Penn Data: New LEP (Limited English Proficient): A checkbox has been added to the DOE tab of the student record. If LEP is selected in the IEP this will transfer back to the student review. This can also manually be selected on the DOE tab of the student record.
- Penn Data: PSSA/PASA required for grades 3,4,5,6,7,8, and 11
- Penn Data: Exit reason, Moved, not known to be Continuing no longer valid

Please CAREFULLY review all information to ensure accurate and seamless installation/update for these new requirements into your system.

Over the past seven days there have been numerous quirks popping up in the eGoals / Citrix logon process. To sum up the problems of the past week, there were some lingering issues with one of the servers following a power outage at the CIU.

We have two Ctirix servers that distribute the load of eGoals users. The problems were plaguing one server, SYLVESTER, in particular.

As it turned out, a .dll system file was left in a corrupt state after the power outage, and this is what caused the problems. Users who were directed to our other eGoals server, SPEEDY, experienced none of these symptoms and proceeded to use eGoals and other apps as normal.

As of this afternoon, I have corrected those issues and tested the servers and all are now fully operational.

The CIU10 eGoals application has now been upgraded to SIS version 4.8.54.

You must log out of eGoals properly. Use the Exit and Log Out buttons. Do NOT use the "X" in the top corner of any screen to log out. The "x" is only used within eGoals when in Print/Print Preview. Otherwise, you should never use the "x".
You may lose data if you incorrectly exit the system.
